ABOUT DEBORAH JOHNSON
Deborah Johnson, MBA MPH PMP – President
A former project manager for a healthcare market research firm, Deborah Johnson has managed patient experience data collection, analysis, benchmarking and consulting for many of the top 100 health plans in the nation, as ranked by U.S. News and World Report. During this time, she managed the administration of nearly a half a million CMS/AHRQ CAHPS assessments, as well as numerous studies to measure provider satisfaction and provider access.
Ms. Johnson views the patients’ experience through a variety of lenses, most notably, that of quality improvement (QI). She honed her QI expertise while working for Florida Power and Light. There she led several QI teams as part of a 7 year quest to become the first non-Japanese company to achieve the Deming Prize for Total Quality Management. Today, as an independent strategy consultant, she continues to demonstrate her commitment to quality improvement.
Ms. Johnson holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University, Atlanta, GA; Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL; Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology; Atlanta, GA; Certificate in Spanish from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, and a Project Management Certification (PMP) from Project Management Institute.
